Rules
- Must be over 18 to compete and attend. IDs will be checked at the door.
- Please bring any required music on a thumb drive.
- No live steel.
- Ladies, if doing Burlesque, please wear pasties and safety/booty shorts.
- Men, please wear full coverage shorts or dance shorts. No uncensored “naughty bits” are allowed.
- Try to keep your acts under four minutes
- All act submissions must be submitted online via Google Drive, or signed up for before the event.
- No photography.
- You may not be intoxicated while on stage. This is a safety issue, so, be smart!
- On the entrance form, to make sure you have read the rules, please put “The Moth read me the rules” on the final question.
Judging & Scoring:
- A panel of judges will evaluate each skit in its entirety and hold up a scorecard with a number from 1-10.
- The numerical scores themselves are not as much of an indicator of winning as they are in the all-ages masquerade.
- The only awards to be presented will be judges’ awards and fan’s choice, which will be given creative names based on the skits presented.
