Great news, everyone!
Ikasucon's forums are back online. We have upgraded our software and are happy to report that the issues we had with spam messages have been resolved. Staff members visit the forums regularly to chat and interact with attendees, and it's a great way to plan for our 2008 event! Stop by today!

Hey all! Hope the holidays treated you well.
First and foremost, registration is open!! The early-bird rate of $30.00 is going fast, so be sure to register soon! You can register via mail, or if you have a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover card, you can register NOW online.
In addition, the hotel room block is open! Rooms are available during the convention at the hotel attached to the Grand Wayne Center, the Hilton Fort Wayne. Room rates are $99 per night plus tax for single/double occupancy and $109 per night plus tax for triple/quad occupancy. Reserve your room today by calling (260) 420-1100. Be sure to mention Ikasucon when you call to make sure you get the special convention rate.
We're continuing to work through the spam issue in the forums. We really appreciate your patience as we attempt to make things right. In the meantime, there is a LiveJournal community and a FaceBook group and event. Each of these sites will be updated with major news and events, and you are all welcome to participate, post, and share just as you would on the forums.
As the forums change, so will the site. Expect to see a new design in the coming weeks.
As always, we welcome your suggestions! Email them to suggestions@ikasucon.org - we promise to read every one, though sadly we can't promise a reply to everybody.
Stay warm - think of this July when you'll be having fun in Fort Wayne with us!

Our convention forums have been subject to unusually numerous amounts of spam messages. As convention staff, we try and delete these as soon as possible. However, we would like to stop the problem at its origin.
To that effect, consider this a heads-up that the convention forums may be closed so that our webmaster can investigate, and hopefully, fix, the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. In the meantime, don't forget that there is a FaceBook group for Ikasucon, as well.
If you have experience dealing with problems of a similar nature, and have any suggestions, please send them to me at relations@ikasucon.org.
Thanks for your patience and support!

Hi all!
Thanks to all our 2007 attendees, guests, staff, and vendors for making our first year in Fort Wayne a very fun one. In fact, we had so much fun, we're coming back for even more!
Ikasucon is pleased to announce their dates for 2008- Friday through Saturday, July 18 through 20. Ikasucon will be held once again at the Grand Wayne Convention Center in downtown Fort Wayne, IN.
Check back to our website often. As we get more information about hotel rooms, registration, guests, and other news, our Front Page will be updated. This is the official place for Ikasucon news you need to know.
Mark your calendars now, and don't miss out! If you have any suggestions or comments, let us know! Our email address is suggestions@ikasucon.org and is checked daily. We read every message, but unfortunately we aren't able to respond personally to everyone.
