Gunpla Builders’ Showcase

Showcase Rules

Participants must have a valid attendee (3-day, single-day, or complimentary) registration for Ikasucon.

  • If slots are available, staff members, vendors, presenters, and guests may showcase their models but are ineligible to win prizes.
  • All participants must follow the Ikasucon Code of Conduct.

All models of Gundam mecha (often referred to as “Gunpla”) may be entered into the Showcase. This includes all series and grades. Models must be built by the individual submitting them to the contest.

Submissions

Contestants may pre-register by sending an email to events@ikasucon.org with their name and the name of the model they wish to exhibit. Contestants may also register at the convention by visiting the Panelist Check-in desk.

Contestants will be given a tag for information that will be displayed with the model. Please include your name and the type of Gundam model (e.g. MG Wing Zero Custom, HG Sandrock Kai).

Please submit the tag with your completed model. Each tag will be attached to the model so it doesn’t get lost.

Please exercise common courtesy toward fellow contestants. Be respectful of them and their creations at all times.

Models can be displayed with or without a stand. However, the model must be stable enough to be on a table without human assistance.
