Code of Conduct

  1. All Federal, state, and municipal laws along with convention center and hotel rules and regulations must be adhered to.
  2. Convention badges must be visible at all times while in convention areas.
  3. Sharing of convention badges is prohibited.
  4. No part of the pubic area or buttocks are to be exposed. Nothing vulgar, offensive, or suggestive should be displayed including shirts, buttons, hats, and signs.
  5. No camping or sleeping in hallways, lobbies, atrium, or parking lots.
  6. Smoking is not allowed inside any convention area.
  7. Ikasucon is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property or for injuries sustained while at the convention.
  8. Ikasucon reserves the right to eject anyone from the convention without a refund for violating any of Ikasucon’s rules.
  9. Listen to the directions of convention staff, convention center staff, and hotel staff at all times.
  10. Weapons are prohibited and may be confiscated: In addition to state, federal, and local laws regarding weapons, we also define a weapon as:
    1. Anything with a metal blade, sharpened or not.
    2. Realistic weapon replicas (with or without an orange tip) or anything loaded that shoots projectiles including Nerf guns and water guns (pool area is an exception for water guns).
    3. Anything being used in a reckless or dangerous manner.
  11. Disorderly and dangerous activity is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to running, horseplay, and unsolicited physical contact.
  12. Appropriate foot wear is required at all times while in the convention center
