Judging Ballots will be handed out to the audience before the competition and will be deposited to the appropriate staff at the end of the screening. The scores will then be tabulated and winners announced at cosplay halftime.
- You do not need to be present at the awards ceremony to win. However if you want your award and/or prizes (if available) you must either be present, have a proxy at the con to pick it up, or stop by con-ops sometime after the awards ceremony to pick up your award.
- You may submit entries to the following categories:
- Drama
- Videos in the Drama category seek to evoke emotional responses from viewers by the successful combination of music, video, and editing which usually involves dramatic subject matter or dramatic elements from the anime. Romance is like drama, except they focus on the relationships between two people. The aww factory plays heavily in this category.
- Comedy/Parody
- Whether parody or just wacky content, videos in this category can be pretty successful as long as someone thinks it's funny.
- Action/Adventure
- Videos will focus on action whether that is fighting sequences, motions of characters, or fast paced colorful imagery. The key word here is adrenaline.
- Electronic submissions may be available upon request and approval of the AMV coordinator.
- Entries may also be mailed. All entries must be clearly marked with your Name, Title of Video, Category, Series, Song Title & Artist, Email Address and should be mailed along with your entry form to:
